Everything owners ask us.
Do customers need to download an app?
No. They scan the code at your counter with their phone camera and their card opens in the browser. No sign-up, no phone number. They can bookmark it or add it to their home screen. You don't install anything either: your dashboard runs in the browser on the phone or tablet you already have.
How do you stop people from cheating?
The counter QR changes every 30 seconds, so a photo of it is useless. Every stamp waits for a tap from your staff, and both screens show the same first name or guest code so the right person gets it. There's a wait between stamps for each customer (30 minutes by default), and you can lock the queue with a staff PIN.
What if a customer changes phones?
Their cards come with them. Corner gives each customer a card key, a short code with a QR, that moves their cards to a new phone without sharing any personal details. They can also sign in with an email code or Google if they'd rather.
Can I use points instead of stamps?
Yes. Choose a stamp card (anywhere from 2 to 30 stamps) or points per peso spent, with several rewards. Points suit restaurants and bigger orders; stamps suit coffee and milk tea.
Is my customers' data safe?
Corner is consent-first and built for the Philippine Data Privacy Act (RA 10173). You see visits, stamps and rewards for every member. Names, email and mobile numbers appear only for customers who chose to share them with your shop. Sharing is off by default and works one shop at a time.
My POS already has loyalty. Why Corner?
POS points live inside the cashier, where customers can't see them. A Corner card is something they keep, check and come back for. It also puts your shop in front of people nearby who already collect stamps with Corner.
Does it work for matcha bars, bakeries and restaurants?
Yes. Corner is built for coffee shops, matcha bars, milk tea shops, bakeries and small restaurants. Pick your category when you set up, and use points per peso if your orders vary in size.
How long does setup take?
About two minutes. Create your shop, design your card, set the reward, then show the counter QR on a tablet or phone, or print the counter sign. We review new shops, usually within a day.
What does it cost after the pilot?
Every plan is free during the pilot. After that, Free stays at ₱0 for one branch and up to 150 stamps a month, Pro is ₱499 a month and Business is ₱999 a month. Paying yearly gets you 2 months free. We'll tell you 30 days before billing starts.
What if the signal drops at my shop?
Scans are saved on the phone and sent as soon as the signal comes back. Nobody loses a stamp because the Wi-Fi blinked.
Do my staff need their own logins?
Not yet. Staff use your shop's counter device, and an optional staff PIN keeps the approval queue locked. Separate staff logins are on our list.
Can customers add their card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet?
Coming soon. Wallet passes are built and waiting on approval. Until then, the card works in any phone browser and can sit on the home screen like an app.
What if a customer doesn't have a smartphone?
Corner needs a phone with a camera and a browser. For the few regulars without one, keep a paper card going alongside it.
